We dropped into the new map rotation and tested the latest balance changes. Movement feels crisp, ring pacing’s tighter, and the weapon meta got spicy. Here’s what stood out—and what still needs a tweak.
After a night of arenas and pubs, the Wingman’s headshot multiplier changes make it rewarding without the old two-tap terror. Hip-fire’s a touch more honest, and we’re seeing a healthier split with R-301/R-99 at close-mid ranges.
Olympus is gorgeous—and brutal for sprinting in the open. These five rotation lines use ziplines, phase runners, and cover to keep you alive when squads collapse. Callouts include Hydroponics, Gardens, and the sneaky backdoor into Hammond Labs.
S-Tier: Horizon, Bloodhound • A-Tier: Wraith, Bangalore, Conduit • B-Tier: Gibraltar, Valkyrie • C-Tier: Rampart (minigun moments still slap).
Footstep clarity is improved, but vertical audio around multi-level buildings remains inconsistent. We tested with a squad running mixed headsets and found stairwell fights easiest to parse; ziplines and phase jumps can still drown callouts.
